Adjust your RipRow™ to fit your body
RipRow™ is designed to fit 95% of men and women. With some easy adjustments it can be made to fit just about everyone.
Here's how:
You can easily make your RipRow™ fit your body by adjusting the RAD: the Rider Area Distance — or the distance between your hands and feet. RAD is an essential part of the RideLogic™ bike setup and riding methods, and it's a huge part of the RipRow's evolution.
- Loosen the adjustment knob.
- Slide the top tub in the frame to attain your desired RAD.
- Tighten the adjustment knob. Make it snug but not tight. This prevents damage to the top tube.
When you adjust your RipRow, set the RAD so your arms are straight when you're standing upright with packed shoulders. This is the same position as the top of a deadlift or when carrying a heavy box of books.
Your RipRow™ RAD should match the distance between the bottom bracket and grips on your BMX or mountain bike. Learn more about the RideLogic™ bike setup and riding methods.
If you need a shorter RAD, flip the handlebars upside down and backward. We do this often to help smaller riders fit modern mountain bikes.
If you need a longer RAD, install handlebars with higher rise.

If my main bike is setup RAD minus, should I set my RipRow™ RAD the same to mimic my riding experience? Or should I dial it in to my true RAD for a potentially better workout?
