Bunny hopping on a RipRow™

I've always known RipRow™ is the best way to teach riders how to hop their mountain bikes, but Coach Kevin Stiffler has taken this to the next level.

Here is a freakin' perfect bunny hop. On a RipRow™.

Warning: The RipRow™ is not designed for hard landings on hard surfaces, and we can't warrant against that kind of punishment. Kevin is a pro rider on soft grass. And his kung fu is very good.

Kevin is on resistance #3. That's very light. It forces him to generate internal power rather than lean backward against the handlebar. Just like you should do on a real bike.

Kevin sets up a rip/row cycle. This gets his body moving and primes the firing pattern. Great riders do this all the way down every trail.

Kevin fires! Hips to hands then hips away from hands. Row then rip. Boom.

The RipRow™ does a perfect baby-dolphin hop. This is how it's done, both on a RipRow™ and on a real bike.

In Kevin's mountain bike classes, he's been getting riders to hop the RipRow™, then they immediately hop their bikes. Here's Erik, who has never been able to hop before.

STOKED!
